Celebrating our 25th Anniversary as the North West's leader of quality HGV (Heavy Goods Vehicle) and LGV (Large Goods Vehicle) tuition.

Stockport HGV Training Centre was established in 1978 and is still personally run by the owners Eve and Karl Allen.

As a family business we combine professionalism with a personal and friendly service that begins even before the Course commences, providing advice on details such as licence applications and medicals, through to arranging convenient theory and practical test dates and even accommodation, if required.

Everyone is different, not just in terms of driving experience, but also in the way they learn and we have never forgotten that in a quarter of a century.

We have always been strong advocates of ONE-TO-ONE tuition, ensuring that you get not only the quality of tuition you require, but a course that is right for you and you alone! We don't sell standard pre-packaged courses that may not be right for you!

Getting an LGV licence these days is a complicated business and that's even before you climb into a cab. We've divided our web site into sections, each section dealing with a specific topic. You can access each section by clicking on the buttons on the left-hand side of the page.

Not only can they answer all your questions, they can advise you which licence is best for you, book your assessment courses and test days and can take care of the paperwork for you.
