As there is a great demand for car and van drivers to graduate to driving articulated vehicles in Category C+E, Stockport HGV has created a special tuition package for individuals and companies to train to this standard.
 
The package itself contains five stages, which involve and include all the tuition, paperwork, medicals and tests required.
 
Stage 1 - Applying For A Provisional LGV Licence
We will arrange for the following:-
  • Private Medical Examination with our local doctor. (Optional - See Pricing)
  • Assist in the completion of the new, much more complicated paperwork now required by the DVLA, Swansea.
  • Providing you with the necessary books for you to study for your Theory Test.
When attending Stage 1, it is essential that you produce the following:-
  • Driving Licence.
  • Passport.
  • Passport Photograph.
Stage 2 - Assessment Lesson
On receipt of your provisional licence from the DVLA, Swansea, we will book you a 2 hour Assessment Lesson.
 
Stage 3 - Theory Test
We will contact the DSA Booking Section, Coventry to book a Theory Test on a date and location convenient to you.
 
Stage 4 - Category C Tuition And Test
On passing your Theory Test, we will organise a 20 hour Category C Course and Department of Transport Test.
 
Stage 5 - Category C+E Tuition And Test
On completing and passing the Category C Course and Department of Transport Test, we will arrange an 20 hour Category C+E Course and Department of Transport Test.
 
NOTE
Included in the above package (if necessary) is on free re-test for either the Category C, or Category C+E Department of Transport Test.

6 days tuition including two D.O.T Test Fees and a medical with our doctor.
This course is suitable for anyone over the ages of 21 who obtained their Class C licence and who now wish to drive vehicles in the above category.

This includes your Licence Application, Medical Examination, 2 hour Assessment Lesson, Theory Test and LGV Theory Test Book.
This sum is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Theory Test £ 32.00
If booked separately.
LGV Theory Test Book £ 15.00
Study of this book is essential before taking the Theory Test.
 
Payment
Unlike our other courses that require a deposit, in order to take advantage of this opportunity, the total cost shown must be PAID IN FULL when attending Stage 1.
 
Any outstanding balance must be paid
IN FULL before tuition begins.
